With the mega Hyped titles like Spore, Dead Space and Boom Blox can not satisfy all expectations during the holidays, EA Sims 3 urgently need to live up to its pedigree series. As Edge points out, even if it is not clear why the Sims 3 would be delayed, the success of the game is undoubtedly essential for EA health as a publisher in these trying economic times. When a number of dealers follow the example of the game, EA has released a statement to quell any consumer panic in which the firm said it is now evaluating the launch window. Initially pegged as a release February 20, the third entry in Electronic Arts hyper-popular simulator The Sims people may be facing a delay, reports Edge Online.
